I took the boys up along Newsome Creek today for some fishing. We managed to catch quite a few fish including a few decent sized cutthroat. Our wildlife for the day included cutthroat, juvenile chinook salmon, juvenile steelhead, Pacific lamprey, terrestrial garter snakes (including the largest specimen I've seen), Belted kingfisher and Idaho gaint salamanders. We even managed to cut a little wood on the trip as well.
